Reacting to NOM's blog and some of the hate contained in it
I am glad that people here think that gay and lesbian people don't deserve rights. All of these comments make it known that you don't really 'love homosexuals' but desire to use the law not to protect marriage, but to subjugate gay and lesbian people and discriminate against them.

A big step against respect for children, who deserve a mother and a father.
First: Pervert seems to have a broad definition. For me, it's an old man over 50 hitting on a young girl that's over 18--it's more creepy than anything else. Also included are pedophiles, and people who don't go after people that are over the legal age of consent. Next, children don't DESERVE a Mother and Father they deserve LOVE, AFFECTION AND SUPPORT. When I think of my parents, I think of these. I would think of them if they were two men or two women. I hope my children think of these things when they think of me and my partner. Also, what about single parents or divorced parents. Do children DESERVE that? It is a reality that households headed by same sex also take those children that are LEFT BY THEIR STRAIGHT PARENTS--WITHOUT STRAIGHT PEOPLE, YOU WOULDN'T NEED GAY ADOPTION
If you believe that children need a Father and Mother I have a ? for you: How many children do you have and how many of those are adopted? This shows nothing but ignorance of reality becuase not all children WILL have a married mother and Father, and if you want children to have married PARENTS, then you should not go against same gender marriages,

NOM has lied and admitted that they lied, they've also been in court for not releasing their list of donors, and obviously they have something to hide...They are shadowy and menacing--of which they blame gay rights activists of doing--I can't believe ANYTHING NOM says because they are proven liars.

This is a trick because NY doesn't do referendums--if they are to be allowed there is a constitutional convention that is long and drawn out every ten years. Next, the only time I ever heard of DEMS in the minority fleeing the state was in regard to the WI union busting vote, they are trying to take a courageous event that made a clear line in the sand AGAINST injustice and make it seem like they were protesting JUSTICE...Good one NOM! I don't know of what happened in IN--IF something happened there.
In IA, the Speaker didn't call HJR6 to a vote because it would've stripped people of their rights--this is painting it with partisan politics...But as they pointed out here, REPUBLICANS passed the bill, it was BIPARTISAN passage!

If you want to protect marriage, you should go and offer financial, grief, divorce, pre-marriage and family counseling for couples--telling someone that they shouldn't get state protections that are given legally doesn't protect ANYONE'S marriage!
