George Maziarz sponsors a Stand Your Ground Law
Hello All
That troll of a Senator (R-NY 62) fills me with nothing but disdain,
contempt, revulsion, abhorrence, loathing nausea, and every time I see him I
just picture that troll like thing in Lord of The Rings saying: “Precious, My
Precious” it is not only the fact that he voted to protect bullies by voting
against the Dignity for All Students Act that prohibited bullying based on
EVERY CONCEIVABLE category imaginable, but because he cited that it didn’t
cover cyber bullying and he made no such attempt to introduce such an amendment
he just wanted to vote against it out of animus of the LGBT community. Also, he
has interfered in local politics and it is said that nothing happens in his
district that he doesn’t know about in the GOP. He wants to control EVERYTHING and
it is that control that will backfire.
I believe people are tired of him and they have had enough.
I have looked at him and heard many stories of him and I have to say that he is
a terrible human being. All he has Is a campaign war chest and he believes that
that will save him. Now in 2010, he got a scare from a first time runner Amy
Hope Witryol came within 4 points of him. In 2012, I am hoping that this news story
(about the law he proposes) gets him the boot. It is about time that he is Sicily and the people become
Italy, booting him out of office. He has served himself most of all, and is one
of the greatest examples of things that the electorate is tired of seeing…even
after our Legislature has passed an ethics bill. He has proposed a Stand Your
Ground Law that would allow people to use deadly force if they believe
themselves to be in imminent danger. This couldn’t have come at a worse time,
when the people of this nation are sitting in their homes watching what such a
law allowed a man George Zimmerman to do because he invoked self defense
although every other piece of evidence shows that he ignored law enforcement
when they told him not to. It was also stated that his Father is a Former FL
Supreme Court Judge and he has been bailed out by his Father’s connections more
at least three times, and if that’s true then it is no surprise that the
Sanford PD didn’t want to press charges against him even though it was evident
from everything known to the police that Zimmerman wasn’t in any danger and
that he himself was the danger, the
suspicious one that had been given a little power as neighborhood watch.
In the wake of this, George Maziarz is acting as if he is
sponsored by the NRA. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NRA actually proposed the
Stand Your Ground Law in FL and the Castle Law in WI and similar other bills
proposed by ALEC American Legislative Exchange Council (?) which lobbies for
the most restrictive laws that makes the prosperity of all Americans a thing of
the past. Maziarz is obviously showing his hard headedness by proposing or
introducing this bill, which he can withdraw and Assembly Speaker Silver had
better not let come to a vote, that would just simply allow copycat vigilantes
like Zimmerman to take the law into their own hands. This is as stupid as the
law in Indiana which the Governor signed that people can use deadly force
against police in the case of a home invasion. I wonder how that one’s going to
go
In this, I see a man who is just not in touch with his
constituents. He does only as he wishes, as we’ve seen in many Republican led
Legislatures across the nation, disregarding the will of the people and
invoking it only when convenient for them. Maziarz has to go, he has been in
the Senate too long, and has been called the Cockroach of the Senate. It is
time to squash it.
