The Booing of Stephen Snyder-Hill

Hey all, Welcome to the Spencer Hamilton Blog! http://www.latimes.com/local/la-me-hidden-man-20131229-dto,0,4485047.htmlstory#ixzz2ov0kNEhU ” I recently found an article from a facebook friend of mine Steven Hill now Snyder-Hill, and I’m brought back to a day in September 2011 when the GOP were holding a primary debate. Who would be the triumphant candidate? , Herman “Godfather” Cain, Rick “Frothy” Santorum, Michelle “Batshit” Bachmann, Newt Swingrich or the Ron Paul EVOLution? Steven Hill, on duty in Iraq close to the time DADT repeal would be fully done had   a question that needed asking, one that could determine whether or not Steven Hill would have a future in the US Army What happened next was shocking. The Question: In 2010, when I was deployed to Iraq, I had to lie about who I was because I'm a gay soldier and I didn't want to lose my job. My question is, under one of your presidencies, do you intend to circumvent the progress that's been made for gay a...

Hair in the Public Square

Rhonda Lee is a woman who used to be a meteorologist for KTSB until she was fired. She was fired over really defending her hair in a positive very mature way. Now, this station had gotten racist comments on their Facebook pages and in this snippet, KTSB 3 actually LIKED the post she got fired over in essence. She was told that she was being fired over a social media policy that was unwritten. My guess is that they wanted her gone and found a reason to do so. She claims that her hair had gotten her in trouble before. I wonder why. See hair is not only an extension of ourselves, it’s a way that we can be creative, when a woman changes her hair she wants people to notice because it looks nice and she feels good. She’s fishing for compliments and when you pay them to her by noticing her hair it feels good. Then the post of “she looks like a hot mess cancer patient comes up” the post Emmett Vascou put up says: the black lady that does the news is a very nice lady. The only thing is she nee...

Some News From Around The Country

For those of you who might be interested, my accompanying video to the blogpost is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mYquGltTPg AR and IN have something in common regarding abortion legislation as a law in each state was challenged. TX, Rick Perry has vetoed a buy American Buy Texas legislation that would make all government agencies buy American goods. Jan Brewer, Kasich and Rick Scott are a handful of Republican Governors taking a deal with the federal government for Medicaid Expansion   Let me get to the exceptions here with Governor Brewer. I think she is evil incarnate but when it comes to tying up all legislation until the budget is passed with Medicaid Expansion, I am on her side with this. She has refused to sign one single bill until the Legislature passes a budget for Medicaid Expansion which will help the poorest citizens with funds from the federal government which will provide most of the money and the state will kick in what is comparatively miniscu...

An election 4 years in the making

Image
So the election is over and we hope we can get back to business right? Well, after some gloating we did in 2012 and the shellacking we took in 2010 along with the devastation in 2004 that was a mixed blessing I wanted to look back at this Presidential campaign and just laught it up that I ever thought about three of the scariest words in the English Language: President Mitt Romney So, let me start at 2004. I read an article that said that 2004 was a mixed blessing because people got tired of the Republeconomics and voted for a Democratic House in 2006, had Kerry won in 2004 they argued the Republicans would’ve been a stick in the mud and caused obstruction that we are so used to seeing now. That would’ve kerplunked any idea of bipartisanship and President Kerry would’ve taken the heat for it as Bill Clinton did when he ran things. The same way Obama does but now due to the volume of the obstruction and the instantaneousness of the news, we can see the truth and ch...

Doug Preisse: Early Voting Shouldn't Accomodate Urban Voters

Early Voting shouldn’t accommodate the urban vote Video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL5KzyCEQ1g Someone told me that I was overreacting and playing the race card AGAIN when Doug Priesse said that Early voting shouldn’t accommodate the urban voting machine. However, what did Presisse mean? One person pulled a statistic that Columbus OH is 61% white, but he couldn’t have meant that if Priesse knew of that statistic. I don’t believe I’m playing the race card when in fact it is being played. It is the truth, they don’t want black people voting because we flood the space with Democrats and if we voted every 2 years, we’d keep the State Government Democratic and boot out these losers who feel that consent of the governed doesn’t apply to them So tell me, those who think I’m overreacting, what did Doug Presisse mean when he said the urban vote? How can you definitively say that he didn’t mean black voters, since often times people associate urban areas with the b...
