I ran across a story on Facebook that is both infuriating and satisfying.  Ms. Jamia Driver was called into a meeting with a Team Lead over a shirt she wore, this is the shirt  The man is artist and painter  Jean Michel Basquiat  who died at 27 years old. This will come into play later. In a series of images, captured from Facebook, we are a fly on the wall as Ms. Driver's immediate boss that I'll call Team Lead (since the supervisor comes in later, I'll call Karen the Team Lead)  So let's pick this apart. A black man on her shirt must either be "known to the law" and automatically assumes this person is not of "positive career" and thinks he's a rapper. This shows her negativity and assumption that all rappers are not of positive careers. What is wrong with having a rapper on your shirt? SOME would say having a Biggie Smalls or Tupac shirt is not exhibiting a positive career, while others would disagree. She also says "I'm not familiar ...

Social conservatism has been nothing more than "Keep it the same because change is scary" Black men voting, women voting, Civil Rights for Black People, Mexicans being covered under the 14th Amendment, School integration, Same sex couples being married, no fault divorce, restaurants!  So let me get to the reasons Conservative Family Values are All Fantasy, No Facts  1. I t is a myth based on TV I enjoy retro TV, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Andy Griffith, The Waltons, SOAP, but do we realize a few things...the casts are all white. There are no problems other than something many people relate to like going to a dance alone or in the case of the Waltons, they're dirt poor in the middle of the Depression. I was at home November 3rd baking a pizza when I saw the  Red Mirage of Election Day Voting that would favor Donald Trump, then as I stress ate I thought to myself...I'm gonna watch a movie. The next few days I was running out of nails to chew as more of the vote was counted then out of nowhere (what they call counting ballots ) I breathed a sigh of relief as  the Red Mirage faded  and Biden took the lead. Democrats heavily used mail in ballots while Republicans mostly voted on Election Day because those are the only ones that are legal and supposed to be counted.  I was hooked on what a kid called "The Map Show" I wanted to know that Trump would be out of there! I think Sleepy Joe is a relic of politics past but since the bar is low with the "Better than Trump" sentiment but I was rooting for him nonetheless. I was looking forward to saying BYE DON!   Trump supporters especially the miserable vocal ones that couldn't live without Dear Leader in the White ...
